Enjoy safely, and in moderation.

LISTENERS! The offices at Mad-Scientist Monthly headquarters are seething with activity, like the apocryphal maggots taking to the traditionally dead horse. Our recordists have been sent to the field agents to collect their stories, and we’ve been receiving transmissions non-stop in the teleprompterreaderwriters ward for the last two days. The first episode is nearing completion – but developing stories may warrant last-minute addenda to the programming.
Wednesday morning, Tuesday night,
Tune in, tune out. Not blight, not trite.

READERS! The first installment of the Mad-Scientist Monthly print supplement has been disseminated to the masses. Appearing in the first issue of this year’s Round Table (student newspaper, volume 197, issue 11) the supplement will arouse suspicion and controversy, encouraging closer examination of Mad-Scientist Monthly as a cross-divisional periodical. Please, explore the site and learn what you can.
But what will MSM prove to be? Only the first feature-length episode will tell, debuting September the 30th at Midnight that morning.
The month will end, and the Madness will begin.
Welcome to the world of MSM.

READERS! In what rapidly degenerated into a stick-em-up, hold-em-out, the MSM staff met this weekend to select a winning design from the pool of submitted logos. Our Editor-in-Chief, however, brought a gun to the table in addition to a design of his own. Thus, a one Ms. Cathleen Robertson in Kansas City, Kansas, has won our contest by proxy! Congratulations, Ms. Robertson. Our stationary fabricatory in Syberia has been sent the order, and you can expect your letter-headed letters sometime this week.
In other news, the first print-supplement of MSM has been submitted to the Beloit College Round-Table, the student-run newspaper, and will run in the first issue of this Fall Semester. Watch the newsstands. Watch your Aunts. Don’t get any funny ideas.
MSM is coming.

ARTISIANS! You still have until midnight-Friday to submit further entries to the MSM Three Words, One Picture logo competition. If you haven’t already, or even if you have, send your designs to Ms. Magnus-Mournstein, and the MSM board will select the winning emblem and artist by Saturday morning. As always, the victorious author will receive their very own set of MSM stationary, bearing their winning insignia, as a prize.
So design away!
Barcodes, circles, triangles,
dots, and lines, and stars;
whatever shape your mind designs,
the winner might be yours!

ARTISTS! The corporate entity that is Mad-Scientist Monthly requires something only you can give. MSM requires a logo! Emblazoned on letterheads, shaped in the wrought iron of our front gates, and stamped on every piece of out-going mail, there must be a sigil. A glyph. Some sign that can represent what ‘MSM‘ can only title.
Submit your submissions to Ms. Magnus-Mournstein between now and Friday the 11th, and the MSM board of directors will select the winning design. The victorious author will receive their very own set of MSM stationary bearing their winning insignia, as a prize.
Quills at the ready.
Inkwells armed.
Begin.
